I'm looking for a roommate, preferably a (new) teacher who would like to be able to live close to school.
I am a retired Latin teacher with limited income but I need to stay in this location. I am a very welcoming and open-minded person who is easy to get along with. I currently work at Wild Birds Unlimited part time and in my free time create mosaics. I also have two well-behaved cats. The apartment is a 2nd Floor 2 bedroom/2 bath near Lamar and Ben White. Nothing fancy; very basic BUT it is a great south-central location that is convenient to Zilker Park, Downtown, and UT. Currently the unoccupied bedroom is lightly furnished - a single twin bed, simple desk, small couch. If you have your own furniture, I can move my furniture out. |

If you like the place, you will have to fill out the apartment's application ($50 fee) so they can do a background check--NON-NEGOTIABLE. You do NOT need to be on the lease.
- be vaccinated (vaccination card necessary)
- be a respectful mask-wearer when out in the world
- be gainfully employed
